We offer counselling services on the phone, face-to-face at our office, or via live chat. To find out more, click on the relevant service. 

Counselling on our premises

 

Our team of competent social workers will be happy to advise you. Our main focus is on sexual health. This includes counselling on HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STI), counselling for people living with HIV and counselling on questions of sexuality, sexual orientation or gender identity. You can just show up during our counselling hours and do not need an appointment. You can also make an appointment with us on the phone, prior to your arrival. This would help us plan our schedule.

Our counselling hours are as follows:

Mon + Wed: 14:00-19:00

Fri: 11:00-16:00. This consultation day is primarily aimed at gay men and other men who have sex with men (MSM) and trans* people.

Counselling-Hotline

Fr: 11 am -5 pm. This consultation day is primarily aimed at gay men and other men who have sex with men (MSM) and trans* people.

Apart from our consultation times you can contact the nationwide hotline of the Deutsche Aidshilfe. The counseling service can be reached at 0180 33 19411 from anywhere in Germany. You can reach us from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 9 pm and on Sundays from 12 pm to 02 pm. You don’t have to give your name when you call.

Live Chat

 

There are two different nationwide chat counselling services offered by the Deutsche Aidshilfe. You can send an e-mail or book an appointment for live-chat counselling here: https://aidshilfe-beratung.de/home.html?L=2 

There is also a special live chat for gay men and other men who have sex with men on Mo-Sat from 5pm-9:30pm. All counsellors are gay or queer men themselves and can answer your questions about HIV, STIs, Coming-Out or anything else you feel the need to speak about.
