PrEP (also HIV-PrEP) is short for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis which means precaution before a possible risk. 

PrEP user are healthy people who take HIV-Medication in order to protect themselves from HIV.

PrEP prenvents HIV transmission as well as condoms or treatment as prevention (TASP).
